Realy Good Features is Realy Good, but price is high.

extended I didn't use it much - just some UML-reverse-stuff, because I'm right now too busy to examin it further. It did what I wanted it to do and this without trouble. The rest seems pretty much likeable as well. And rather feature loaded. (I just used the eclipse-integration with a 3.4 eclipse and it performed as I'm used to on a 4 years 2ghz centrino with 1g ram. One thing I encountered was that a (class) diagram was not shown after generation. A editor opened after generation but it was empty. Double-clicking the diagram(s) icon in the diagrams view didn't change ...

Where is it?? I downloaded the installer and there was no option to install the plugin. Only options to install for every other IDE but not VS

Unfortunately, was not able to load anything, except examples.

It's a very good software, I'm a student, and I use it very much, to document softwares. but the communyt's version is very restrict to reverse engnier and other aspects, and de standard version, its only 30 days...Thank you...

Probelms with NetBeans 6.1 I had problems with some functions because of exceptions in NetBeans 6.1

Sigh! This subject is too short I downloaded the SDE for NetBeans(CE) for Windows installer because it was marked as freeware. When I installed it, it asked me for a license. Click Here, it said for an evaluation license. Not wanting to register for yet another place that will nag me ad infinitum as the price for curiousity, I didn't complete the installation. Does it work? Who knows.

Great interface The layout window to allow me to review the different parts of the database is genius.

DDS for optimalization I'm database administrator and database developer on many programming languages. DDS help me to solve many problems in little minutes. DDS can give me an optimization on time and case. I think there are some way to have DDS pro on my hands with free cost

Ingres support for reverse engineering It's fine, but reverse engineering doesn't support native connection for database Ingres.

Review after the 1st day I missed the JPG/PNG export from the Community Edition. It's a feature, which is very easy to add - I saw that it's already present in other editions. In the community edition you could enable this feature though, you could also include a banner, that it was a community edition, and it's a good advertisement for you as well. Until then I can still use the desktop screenshot function anyways. As for the functionality, everything else worked well.

It is really a very nice reverse engineering tool which will help in generating the class diagram from java source code. The one disadvantage is it needs more heap memory. Otherwise it is a nice freeware.

I down loaded the Community addition. My immediate need was to reverse engineering some java classes. Apparently the Community addition does not have this capability even though the description on the download page indicated that it did. I am somewhat annoyed at having wasted the time to find that the product did not have the capabilities that I needed.

Mine is a 4GB memory machine. I tried to launch it with Eclipse 3.5 by setting max JVM Heap size to 1024 and tried to create UML models from my existing source but it failed wih \"Out of memory\". Seems that the optimization on Memory footprint is required for this.

I was not able to install it properly. The modelling menu never showed up in eclipse. I tried twice ...
